When i was one & Twenty, I heard a wise man say,Give Crowns, & Pounds & Jewels but not your heart awayGive Pearls away and rubies but keep your fancy free.But i was one and twenty, no use to talk to me.When i was one & Twenty i heard him say again,The heart out of bossom was never given in vain,Tis paid with signs a plenty & sold for endless rue.& now i am two and twenty & ho. tis true , tis true.
