Adam and Eve lay beneath the stars.
I wonder if their love was as strong as ours?
Darling, I love you, I’m not afraid to say,
Our love just grows with each passing day.
I was afraid our love would grow cold,
That’s what I’ve always by others been told.
I’m glad they were wrong, so I sing this song,
For you are the woman to whom I belong.
Without your concern I have nothing at all,
There’s no one to help me should I take a fall.
I need your love it builds up my pride;
Bolsters my ego and stands by my side.
Many men still search for someone like you
